First Phase of Museum Enhancement Plan Complete!

The first phase of the Memorial Museum enhancement plan is completed!

Working in conjunction with Ford Audio-Video Systems, Inc., and Hillman & Carr, we have replaced and updated six CRT monitors in the Museum's Chapter 5B: Rescue and Recovery two extra large LED monitors. Resampling older video footage to a higher resolution and mixing that with animated video, the image quality is vastly improved.

The new monitors use far less electricity than the older CRT monitors, and replacing the DVD players with HD digital media players reduced this exhibits power consumption footprint to 20 percent of what it was before.
