Ninth Anniversary of the Memorial Museum

February 15, 2010

Nine years ago today, the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum opened its doors after a public dedication led by President George Bush and First Lady Laura Bush.

Today, nearly 1.8 million people have learned the lessons of the Oklahoma City bombing and the senselessness of violence. Visitors have included Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, royalty, celebrities and everyday citizens from all 50 states and more than 55 countries.

The Memorial Museum complements the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial by giving visitors insight into the personal impact of the home grown terrorist attack.

The Memorial Museum is open daily, and the last ticket is sold at 5:00 p.m.
