Little Rock Students Are Called2Change

March 02, 2010

Sixth graders from Horace Mann Middle School in Little Rock, Arkansas, toured Leadership in a Time of Crisis: President Clinton and the Oklahoma City Bombing and experienced First Person: Stories of Hope with Memorial staff and Trustees in Little Rock for the exhibit opening. Family member Donna Weaver and survivor Richard Williams shared their stories and answered questions from students about the bombing and preventing terrorist attacks from continuing to happen. Students were given buttons representing leadership traits and encouraged to demonstrate leadership in their school and community as they make choices to create a world in which violence has no place.
