Reflecting Pool Drained for Maintenance

Springtime weather allows the Memorial Facilities & Construction staff the opportunity to do routine repairs and maintenance around the site. The Reflecting Pool will be dry all week as normal routine maintenance is done in and around the 300 foot Reflecting Pool. The length of the repairs is directly tied to having weather above freezing temperatures and the opportunity to grout and caulk joints in the pool. The Reflecting Pool is expected to be refilled sometime early next week. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we work hard to ensure the Memorial and Museum continue to be maintained to the standards to which they were built.
