Changed Forever - A UCO Interdisciplinary Project

Students from Theatre Arts, Music Theatre, Dance and Design at the University of Central Oklahoma began working together last fall to create a performance based on literature from the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. To prepare for the project, students toured the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial and the Museum, and conducted extensive research in the Memorial Archives. "They spent two days pouring over boxes of deeply personal and heartfelt letters, notes, poetry and other items," said Director Hayley Thompson. "They used these items to create beautiful and original performance art, telling the story of that day, its impact on Oklahoma and the nation, and how it caused all of us to be 'Changed Forever.'"

The final performance of Changed Forever is Saturday, April 3, 7:30 p.m., at NW 6th and Robinson.
