More than 120 counselors, psychologists, educators and school resource officers participated in Responding to Children in Crisis: Understanding Needs and Building Resilience, a workshop hosted by the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. Dr. Robin Gurwitch, internationally recognized expert on the impact of trauma and disaster on children, discussed the impact of trauma and loss on children and learning, steps to building resilience in children and self-care.
