Heritage Hall Student Photographers Visit the
Outdoor Symbolic Memorial

Heritage Hall Director of Academic Technology Luke Steelman brought students from his summer digital photography class to the Memorial today. They photographed components of the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial as part of a lesson on photographic composition and capturing symbolism on film. Before visiting the Memorial, students watched a podcast about the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial narrated by designers Hans and Torrey Butzer. "The students were able to reflect in addition to taking photos," said Steelman. "A couple wrote messages in the Children's Area before we left."
