Junior League Partners with Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum to Preserve History

Collections Manager Helen Stiefmiller and Junior League representative Katie Moore are making final preparations for Preserving History at the OKC National Memorial, a new Variety Pack project available to Junior League of Oklahoma City volunteers. The project involves digitizing and cataloging photographs of the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial dedication on April 19, 2000, and other important historic photographs documenting the memorial process following the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. “The hours of work these volunteers complete for this project will help preserve these images and make them quickly accessible on the Museum’s database,” said Stiefmiller.
