Exciting Professional Development Workshop Scheduled
New Education Resources Available
August 31, 2010
Join us for a workshop with the remarkable team who investigated and prosecuted Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols. For the first time, U. S. Attorney Pat Ryan, U. S. District Court Judge David Russell, and FBI Case Agents Jon Hersley and Larry Tongate will share their experience with educators. For more information and to register, click on the workshop link below.
Oklahoma House Bill 2750 provides that courses of instruction in Oklahoma History will incorporate information about the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Building and the role it plays in the history of Oklahoma and our nation. In addition, new standards offer additional opportunities for study in United States and world history. A variety of lesson plans, videos and other resources are available on the Memorial’s website.
