Thunder GM Encourages all Players to Visit the
Memorial and Museum

Veteran and new members of the Thunder Basketball Organization took time on Saturday morning to tour the Memorial and Museum. Team leadership encourages members of the team to visit the site and experience what the people of this city went through 15 years ago and see how hope was transformed from the horror. All six players were moved by their tour, even though the event happened when they were very young. “This story is as relevant today as it was 15 years ago and helping people understand that we each have a responsibility and can all make a difference is one of our key messages.” Kari Watkins, Executive Director told the group of players touring the Museum. “We are grateful the Thunder leadership understands the importance of this place and encourages his team and staff to visit here to understand the history of our city.”
