Tourism Partners Honored as
Ambassadors of Memorial & Museum

More than 50 partners in the tourism industry were honored at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum today for being an ambassador, champion and advocate of this national treasure.
“This was a time for us to say Thanks to those who help us tell our story and give tourists information on how to get to the Memorial & Museum and what they will experience when they get here. From the Oklahoma Welcome Centers, to the call center operators, local convention and visitor sales, tour bus operations, and hotel partnerships to colleagues from other local attractions,” said Kari Watkins, Executive Director of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, “We are successful because they help make us successful.”
The time together today was spent reviewing plans for 2011, showing new marketing and advertising tools and touring behind the scenes of the Memorial, Museum and Archives.
