Memorial Collections Include Holiday Remembrances

During the holiday season, visitors to the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial often leave special Christmas mementos on the Fence or on the Chairs. Some of the artifacts added over the years to the Museum’s collections include Christmas wreaths, ornaments, toys and folk art. Many of these items are dedicated to someone killed in the bombing. Their preservation will provide valuable information to researchers studying the ways in which people of this generation mourn and remember their loved ones.
