Museum Builders...
Major Ed Hill, Sue Hale & Ron Norick

February 11, 2011
It takes a thousand voices to tell a single story...
Ancient Native American proverb
Each day between February 1st and the 19th, you will hear from key people who helped make the Museum a reality. People throughout the community played a vital part in building the Memorial Museum. From photographs and artifacts, to telling their own story of the rescue, recovery, reporting and renaissance of this city.
The Memorial process was blessed to have three key community leaders participating in this process. Major Ed Hill with the Oklahoma City Police Department brought the rescuers’ stories. Sue Hale, the Editor of The Oklahoman, had expertise in reporting and storytelling. Mayor Ron Norick started the Memorial process shortly after the bombing. Hear them reflect back on how they contributed and how today we see such a different city.
Hear these people tell the story in their own words during a special First Person panel on Saturday, February 19th at 1:00 in the Museum. Admission to the Museum is free that day courtesy of Devon Energy. Cake and ice cream will be served to celebrate the Museum Turns 10 at noon.
