Museum Builders...
Five Memorial Staff Have Dedicated a Decade

February 15, 2011

It takes a thousand voices to tell a single story…
Ancient Native American proverb

The Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum turns 10 this Saturday, February 19th. Each day leading up to this special celebration, we are featuring one of the Museum builders on our website. Today, we are featuring five staff members who have dedicated a decade of their professional careers to telling the story at the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum. Joanne Riley, Museum Visitor Services Director, Toni Clopton, Executive Assistant and Special Events Coordinator, Laurie Barton, Chief Financial Officer, Diana McGoohan, Visitor Services and Kari Watkins, Executive Director, have each been a part of creating and opening the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum. Listen to them reflect on their work, and understand the passion for what they do every day.

Join us for the Birthday Party as the Museum turns 10 this Saturday, February 19th at noon for cake and ice cream followed by a special First Person Panel featuring the Museum Builders. Admission to the Museum is free on this special day courtesy of Devon Energy.
