Museum Builders...
Kari Watkins

February 17, 2011
It takes a thousand voices to tell a single story...
Ancient Native American proverb
The Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum turns 10 this Saturday, February 19th. Each day leading up to this special day a Memorial Museum builder has been featured on our website. Kari Watkins was the first employee hired in early 1996 as the Communications Director. In 1998, she was named Executive Director of the Oklahoma City National Memorial Foundation, the owner and operator of the Memorial and Museum. Kari has witnessed healing first hand in her job overseeing the creation and now the operations of this sacred site.
Don't miss the celebration this Saturday at noon at the Memorial Museum with Congressman James Lankford and Oklahoma City Thunder mascot Rumble the Bison. At 1:00, the Museum Builders will participate in a special First Person panel. Museum admission is free on this special day courtesy of Devon Energy.
