Training for the 11th Annual Oklahoma City
Memorial Marathon

If you are planning to run the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, you should be well into your training regimen at this point. Part of your training plan should include pre-run stretching as part of your warm-up to help prevent injury and ensure you enjoy your run even more. See YMCA Health & Wellness Director John Friedl and Running Coach and author Mark Bravo as they go through some important pre-race workouts. 

If you are in the Oklahoma City area and would like to join a training group, visit the OKC LandRunners Running Club or find a training group in your hometown. Keep training and we’ll see you on May 1st at the Run to Remember!
