Memorial and Museum Hoping for
Journalists Safe Return

We at the Memorial and Museum are hoping for the safe return of Anthony Shadid and his New York Times colleagues who have gone missing in Libya. Shadid, a two time Pulitzer Prize winner and Beirut bureau chief was at the Memorial Museum on February 26 presenting a workshop in conjunction with the Memorial's exhibit Reporting Terrorism titled Crisis Communication: Domestic Terrorism, Journalists & Social Media.
