Preparing for the Kids Marathon!

Thousands of children are putting in their miles in preparation for the 2011 OKC Memorial Kids Marathon. Children through 6th grade can get ready for their Marathon by logging 25 miles before the race and running the last 1.2 miles together on race day. Our friends at Carl’s Jr. and 7-Eleven have some great rewards for each 5 miles of training completed. Registration is available at OKCMarathon.com. Mail-in registration forms must be postmarked by April 1 and online registration is open through noon on April 25. Sign up today and join Kids Marathon Honorary Chair-Bison, Rumble, for a morning of fun, healthy exercise and inspiration!

Mrs. Kelly Turner from Casady School and Mrs. Ellen Cooper from Taft Middle School were on KFOR this morning with the Oklahoma City Thunder’s mascot, RUMBLE, the Bison Chair of the Memorial Kids Marathon.
