Reading of 168 Names: Visitors are to remain seated until all names have been read.

Cox Communications Community Day: On this day, entry into the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is free of charge, thanks to the generous support of Cox Communications. Following the Remembrance Ceremony, the Memorial & Museum will open at 10:00a.m. Last entry into the Museum is at 6:00p.m.

National 9/11 Flag Historic Stitching Ceremony: In a historic stitching ceremony, FDNY firefighters and local service heroes will repair an American flag destroyed in the aftermath of 9/11. For additional information on service heroes, please contact ann.clark@edelman.com.

Planting of Survivor Tree Seedling at Taft Middle School (2901 NW 23rd Street): Seventy-five Taft Middle School students who will participate in the Memorial Marathon this May will plant a “Wish Tree” as part of a nationwide initiative. Participants are asked to write their wishes for the future on scraps of paper to plant under each tree.

II. MEDIA INFORMATION
All media trucks will park on Robinson Avenue. Memorial officials have been told by city officials the road will not be reopened by April 19, but it will be in good enough condition to park media trucks on for this special event. A parking permit is required, please contact kathy.tucker@okc.gov to arrange.

Media will be stationed at the Survivor Tree throughout the ceremony, with available mult box hook-up. Following the reading of the 168 names, media can relocate. A pool camera will be available for a straight head shot on ground level from KFOR-TV. Contact Chuck Musgrove for details at 405.478.6395 or chuck.musgrove@kfor.com.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum will honor President and Mrs. George W. Bush and family with the 2011 Reflections of Hope Award. Barbara Pierce Bush and Jenna Hager, daughters of President George W. Bush, will be in Oklahoma City on April 20, 2011, to receive the award on behalf of their family.
