Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum Prepares to Welcome its Two Millionth Visitor This Month

Over the past ten years, the institution has educated millions with its story of hope and renewal

WHAT: The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is proud to announce it will reach an important milestone in June, the celebration of its two millionth visitor. This special visitor will receive a VIP Behind the Scenes Tour of the Museum from Museum staff as well as a family member, survivor and rescue worker.

 

The Museum has welcomed individuals from all 50 U.S. states and several dozen foreign countries. Notable guests include President Bill Clinton, President and Mrs. George W. Bush, Supreme Court Justices Sandra Day O’Connor and John Roberts, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, television anchors Ann Curry and Brian Williams, and team members from the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder.

WHY: Oklahoma City museums typically average between 100,000 and 150,000 visitors each year. An impressive 200,000 visitors from around the world visit the Museum each year—last year alone, the Museum welcomed visitors from 95 countries.
