It will provide funding to preserve and maintain the Memorial and Museum.

"The 9:03 Fund is essential to maintaining the Memorial as we know it; it is a place of peace, beauty and reverence. The Thunder organization and our fans are honored to re-invest in the Memorial’s mission by assisting with fundraising for this special auction on Thursday, " said Thunder Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti.

"We are always proud to work with the Thunder and appreciate their willingness to help us raise money for strengthening the Memorial,” said Kari Watkins, Executive Director. “As we work to preserve and maintain the Memorial and enhance the Museum, community buy-in is essential. The people built this Memorial and a strong endowment and advancing the story in the Museum is essential to making sure people know the facts for generations to come.”

Among the items at the in-game auction and raffle at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Thursday: a team-signed Thunder basketball, autographed jerseys, shoes, the use of a Thunder suite for an upcoming game, and other items.
