Notes to the Media
- There will be a TV pool camera head shot on ground level, provided by KWTV.
- The still photo pool will be provided by Sue Ogrocki with AP cell# 405 503 0656.
- There will be a mult-box located at the Survivor Tree. Continuous audio will be fed starting at 8:15am.
- All media trucks will be parked along Robinson Avenue. You are required to get a parking permit from the City of Oklahoma City traffic. When taking out your permit, ask if live trucks can be parked Thursday PM. The Memorial cannot give that permission.
- The Memorial logo for your use is located on the FTP Site listed below. Please try to convince your reporters and talent, the official name is the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, NOT the bombing Memorial. This is a very sensitive subject with families and survivors.

- All Media is contained at the Survivor Tree beginning at 8:30 a.m. and until the ceremony ends (after the reading of the 168 names)
- All morning live shots have to be completed by 8:00 a.m. unless they are under the Survivor Tree
- Social Media Campaign to help us teach the younger generation by tweeting about the event. We will be pushing a social media hashtag throughout the day to trend this Day of Remembrance -Please help us by using the following hashtag #ForeverChanged @OKCNM -We would like to ask all local media to promote this hash tag during your live feed of the ceremony -Consider running a live twitter feed of the hashtag #ForeverChanged -Encourage viewers/readers/listeners to submit comments on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Flickr, Vine
- Encourage Readers/Viewers/Listeners to come to the April 19th Ceremony and experience the Memorial Museum free that day from 10:00-5:00, thanks to Cox Communications.
- Weather backup plan – if it’s lightning, the ceremony will be moved to the Methodist Church. The call to move the location will be made at 7:00 AM on April 19.
