OKLAHOMA CITY NATIONAL MEMORIAL & MUSEUM OFFERS FREE ADMISSION FOR MILITARY
Active and Retired Military offered free admission to Memorial Museum with paid admission on Armed Forces Day

OKLAHOMA CITY — To thank military personnel for their service to this country, the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum will provide free admission to active duty and retired service men and women with a paid admission to the Memorial Museum on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 20.
“The men and women who serve this country are guardians of freedom and protectors of our nation,” said Kari Watkins, executive director. “We are grateful for their service, and we wanted to give them the opportunity to experience this place of hope and resilience.”
To receive free admission, military personnel should present their military ID at the Memorial Museum ticket counter. The Outdoor Symbolic Memorial is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is free of charge. Admission to the Memorial Museum is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $6 for students. The Memorial Museum is open Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Ticket sales end daily at 5 p.m.
The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum was created to honor those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever by the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. The Memorial and Museum are dedicated to educating visitors about the impact of violence, informing about events surrounding the bombing, and inspiring hope and healing through lessons learned by those affected.
