First Person - Stories of Hope Features Cherokee Ballard And Tony Stizza

July 18, 2008

KFOR Anchor Cherokee Ballard and Memorial Video Director Tony Stizza shared their experiences covering the bombing with a group of East Asian journalists participating in a workshop at the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at OU through a State Department grant. Following a tour of the Memorial Museum, the journalists participated in the First Person – Stories of Hope presentation with Ballard and Stizza, asking questions and relating some of their own challenges as journalists in countries where violence is a part of their everyday lives.

First Person – Stories of Hope is presented each Friday at 1:30 in the Museum through August 29, and by request to groups visiting the Memorial Museum.
