Special Use of Site

There are some occasions that require special use of our site. Our permitting process ensures that special events are conducted in a manner consistent with our standards of resource and visitor protection. Our goal is for all special events to benefit their participants and the general public while fostering the mission of the Oklahoma City National Memorial.

ACTIVITIES THAT REQUIRE SPECIAL USE PERMISSION

SPECIAL EVENTS: A special use permit is required for activities that provide a benefit to an individual, group or organization, rather than the public at large and that require some degree of management from the Oklahoma City National Memorial Staff in order to protect memorial resources and the public interest.

Performance or Special Events/Observances

If you wish for your group to perform either a vocal or instrumental selection of songs, or you wish to hold a special observance or event on the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial, you'll need to fill out the Performance/Special Event form. Once the form is submitted, a committee of Memorial staff will determine the approval of the submission and the Special Use Coordinator will contact you to let you know next steps. Please allow at least two weeks for approval of forms.

Filming/Photography on Site

All requests to film on-site for any purpose other than spot news must be submitted by completing a Filming/Photography request. Once the form is submitted, a committee of Memorial staff will determine the approval of the submission and the Special Use Coordinator will contact you to let you know next steps.
Please allow at least two weeks for approval of forms.
