Ways to Help

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is a private non-profit organization, and does not receive any annual operating funds from the federal, state or local government. Museum admissions, store sales, the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, earnings from an endowment and private fundraising allow the Memorial and Museum to be self-sustaining.

Valuable gifts of time, talent and treasure to the Memorial help change lives each and every day. Make your donation to the Memorial and volunteer your time at this historic site. You, too, can change lives and help create a more peaceful future for this generation and future generations.

Help us teach the impact of violence…

Your gift to the Memorial will change lives. On the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial, in the Memorial Museum and through our education and outreach programs, visitors and participants see first-hand the impact of violence, the strength and resilience of those affected, and ways in which they can change their world.

We provide experiences that teach children and adults about the real-life consequences of their actions (or inactions) on others, and ways to find peaceful resolutions to their own daily struggles.

We are the caretakers of this historic and educational site. Half of the funds needed for our annual budget come from donations. Your donation preserves the beauty of the Memorial and helps us tell the story.

Volunteer Your Time

We are interested in individuals who wish to make a difference in the lives of our many visitors. We are seeking professional, compassionate, sensitive and dedicated people to help us with the Memorial mission: to remember those who were killed, those who survived, and those changed forever.

Memorial volunteers typically work four-hour shifts on a weekly, twice weekly or semi-weekly flexible schedule during Museum hours of operation. Memorial volunteers greet Memorial and Museum guests, provide Museum orientation, serve as docents and exhibit guides inside the Memorial Museum, assist with special events and host evening Museum tours for groups.
