Description This yellow and black Deer Creek Volunteer Fire Department helmet was worn during the rescue and recovery operation and then left on the Memorial Fence. Written on it is, "April 19, 1995, we will never forget 9:02 am" with a cross. On the other side of the crown is written, "DCVFD Squad 5 Randy Poindexter, Denny & Debby Wells, Dale Ford, Matt Billen, Guy Rankin, Kelly Lewis Edmond, Oklahoma." The State of Oklahoma is drawn on with a heart in the center.
