| The text on the front of this shirt reads "NEWPORT NEWS FIRE DEPT," "PROTECTION," "PREVENTION," "CORPORATION OF NEWPORT NEWS VIRGINIA, 1958" and a green tree against blue background in the center. The white vinyl lettering on the back reads "NEWPORT NEWS FIRE DEPT." This shirt was worn by a rescue worker at the bomb site, then given to Mike and Joan Korenblit for the hospitality shown at their business, the Colcord Oyster Bar. |
