Description
The picture on this postcard is of a group of rescuers and rescue dogs. Printed in white on the front is "'The Credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat, who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause; who at best, if he wins, knows the thrills of high achievement, and if he fails daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory or defeat." Another message is written on the back: "To the people of Oklahoma, Thank you for your overwhelming kindness and support during and after the dark days following the Murrah Federal Building incident. We will never forget the people of Oklahoma and their treatment of our team. We wish for you and your families peace, love and healing during this holiday season. With our deepest appreciation, From California Task Force 3 300 Middlefield Road Menlo Park, CA 94025" This card is postmarked December 13, 1995.
