Description This is a videotaped interview with Ron Moss of the Oklahoma City Fire Department. He discusses learning about the bombing on television in Las Vegas, returning to Oklahoma City, Phoenix USAR, visiting the site at midnight, taking over rescue efforts, Incident Command System (organized efforts to calm chaos, assigns duties, sections, and chain of command), confusion, grasping the situation, FEMA, FBI, other federal agencies, assistance from FEMA rather than FEMA taking over operations, feeling of security problems, early morning meeting with the rescue personnel, safety of the rescue workers, weather concerns, managing volunteers, numerous hazards inside the building, impact of the blast on individuals inside the building, personal reflection on the damage to the Murrah Building and the Journal Record Building, recovery in the surrounding buildings, lack of turf battles, working in a crime scene, personal attack rather than attack on the federal government, funerals, fatigue.
