Description This is a videotaped interview with Jacquetta Lair. She discusses answering the emergency call on April 19, 1995, searching for her cousin, spending 26 hours at the site, coming back to help feed rescue workers, realizing her cousin would not be found alive, protection from the national media, professionalism of the rescue/recovery workers, support from friends and family, funerals, efforts inside the building, assisting with rescue and recovery, putting the events in the past, memories of building returning, remembering the outpouring of love from the nation and the world, cards and letters from children, ribbons, rescue dog at her cousin's funeral, wheelchair-bound Christian performer, placing roses at the site, mental health professionals, impact of violence upon individual lives, presence of clergy, memories of her cousin, impact of her loss on the family.
