Description This is a videotaped interview with Dan Helmuth. He discusses the events before the bombing, immediate thoughts on the explosion, feeling the impact 5 blocks away, debris from the bombing, heading for the blast site, initial impressions of the building, helping survivors, the daycare center, entering the building, conditions inside the building, encountering survivors, EMTs, removing a victim, people calling for help, finding dead people, finding children, Baylee Almon, PJ Allen, removing PJ Allen from the building, the Cave and the Pit, searching for the two women calling for help, firefighters' rescue efforts, searching for the missing child in the Marine Commander's office on the sixth floor, working up to the top of the building, the totality of the damage to the building, fires, how the plaza looked like a "warzone."
