Description This a videotaped interview with Jack Poe, Chaplain for the Oklahoma City Police Department and Oklahoma Air National Guard in 1995. This tape continues the interview from 3844.80.

Jack Poe discusses the healing process, including everyone involved in the rescue and recovery effort, encouraging those affected to speak about their experiences, breaking down the masculine myth, gaining strength from others, learning to forgive, finding heroism in the recovery effort, understanding how the events of the bombing still affect the lives of those involved, rebuilding lives after the bombing, focusing on the good that came out of the bombing, community strength and support, focusing upon the response to the bombing, generosity of individuals, sanctity of the bombing site, power of prayer, importance of teaching people not to hate, power of non-violence, depression amongst the rescue dogs and rescue workers and the problem of encouraging the workers/maintaining morale, praying for rescue workers, unfairness in life, ability only to control what happens within ourselves, piecing lives back together, trials.
