This a videotaped interview with Michael Roe of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Michael Roe discusses his activities before the bombing, feeling the bomb blast, hearing about the explosion on his scanner, seeing the smoke cloud, going to the Murrah Building, crowd control, noise and debris, burning cars, keeping the public back, looking for survivors inside the building, searching the building with three civilians, bomb scare, leaving the building, returning to the building with Joe Simpson, searching the back of the building, second bomb scare, finding survivors in the basement, feeling of helplessness, the removal of children, anger at being kept out of the building for lack of full safety equipment, concerns about the building's integrity, injuries to himself and other rescue workers, finding hardhats and returning to the basement, water and debris in the basement, hearing someone signaling in the basement, searching for the signal (Brandi Ligons), help from firefighters in digging for Brandi, getting Brandi out and stabilizing her injuries, the efforts from other crews to remove debris, second bomb scare.
