Description
|
| The Roosevelt School in West Allis, Wisconsin, made a series of banners after the bombing. Mrs. Alice Botsch sewed the banners and each class decorated one. The school held a program on May 9, 1995, entitled "Look to the Future" and the banners were presented at that time. They also planted a tree and placed a memorial stone with the inscription "In memory of the children who lost their young lives on April 19, 1995, in Oklahoma City. Our hearts are with you" in front of the school.
The message on this banner reads "Hope is uplifting," "3rd Grade Roosevelt School," and "How ever Overwhelming the Problem, friends Ease the pain (HOPE)." |
