This flag was flown over the United States Capitol, the State of Oklahoma Capitol and the Oklahoma City National Memorial. The bronze plaque above the flag case reads "May this memorial offer comfort, strength, peace and serenity, We dedicate this to the Oklahoma City National Memorial in remembrance of the 10th year anniversary of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building Bombing, in the name of Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings, Memorialcon 2005." There are medallions at each corner of the plaque -- Arnold Air Society, Silver Wings, front and back of Memorialcon 2005.
The Conclave was held in Oklahoma City from March 25-27, 2005. The plaque was presented to the Memorial on March 26. Members were allowed to tour the Museum after the ceremony and place their tokens on the fence. |
