Description

| A white nurse's cap is tied to this candlestick with red satin ribbon. Messages written inside cap read "Leigh Ann Tilley, Recipient of the Cassandra Booker Scholarship at Platt College for 1997 & 1998, LPN graduating class of 1998 & RN graduating class of 2005," "Cassandra Booker, reborn to light the world on April 19th, 1995, at 9:02 am," and "Leigh Ann Tilley, 9-17-69, Thank you for changing the lives of myself & my family through the gift of education." These items were removed from Cassandra Booker's chair on April 22, 2005, shortly after the Tenth Anniversary, April 19, 2005. Cassandra Booker died in the Social Security Administration Office on the first floor of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. |
