Description 
On this videotape, YMCA preschool teacher Melissa Eldridge discusses her experiences at the YMCA building during and after the bombing. She begins with her normal routine on the morning of April 19, 1995, feeling the impact of the blast, initial reactions, fears of a tornado or earthquake, fear that the roof of the YMCA would collapse, injuries to the students, gathering the children, calling for her son Christopher, getting out of the building, finding her son, seeing people walking from the Murrah Building, sending Christopher to the hospital with her husband, the speed of the reaction from police and paramedics, walking toward the Murrah Building, people running from the building and the first bomb scare, walking to St. Anthony's to find her husband and son, finding out they were at home, reuniting with them that night, medical care at Mercy Hospital, reopening the daycare center at the east side facility, guilt over her son, donations from strangers, sounds and images that trigger memories and emotions from the bombing, returning to work at the daycare center for one year, following the story on television, trying to make sense of the bombing, following the trial through the media, anger and relief after the verdict, feeling that the death penalty was not severe enough.
