Date 1995
Description This black leather Dooney & Bourke satchel purse was found after the bombing, during the early hours of the rescue and recovery operation. Teddy Wilson, Chaplain with the Oklahoma City Fire Department, found the purse in the rubble with a checkbook in it. He opened the checkbook and found the name Nancy Ingram on the checks. Right after finding the checkbook they found a woman's hand in the rubble. It was Nancy Ingram, alive and buried in the rubble. Teddy Wilson yelled at her "Are you Nancy Ingram?" Her reply: "Well, yes I am." Teddy: "Well, don't worry, I found your purse."
