This is a tape from a press briefing during the recovery effort. This briefing was on April 24, 1995. Roger O'Neill Presser briefs on topics including the childcare center; finding bodies; the Pit; conditions in the building, safety concerns; visit and wreath from a man in Alabama; clearing rubble; falling debris; smell of bodies; images from the building; amount of light; numbers of workers, dedication; dog teams.
The tape also includes remarks from Buddy Young, FEMA regional director, about conditions faced by recovery workers.
