| Project Heartland was a local project funded by FEMA to offer assistance with the mental health of the community after the bombing. The collection includes artifacts as well as this small collection of documents. The documents consist of the application for funding, which includes the structure of the program, a few miscellaneous articles and brochures and quarterly reports for the project. This program allowed anyone in Oklahoma City to receive counseling. It was not limited to those directly involved in the incident. It also reached out to schools to help them with trauma among students. And it provided mental health specialists in all activities during the memorial process that involved family members, survivors and rescue workers. |
