Description

| This quilt is made of 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" print cotton blocks in shades of blue, red, yellow, green, and mauve tacked with cream color yarn, lined in black cotton with pink floral bud print, and filled with polyfoam. A heart-shaped cotton patch is bonded to the back. Written on the patch in black print is "Our hearts and prayers are with you. May 1995, from Mrs. Susan West's Second Grade Class, Christ the King School, Rutland, VT." A letter from Mrs. Susan West, dated May 30, 1995, describes how the class of 17 children decided to make these quilts. |
