| Description |
This quilt is made of 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" print cotton blocks, tacked with cream color yarn, lined in black cotton with pink rose bud print and filled with polyfoam. A heart-shaped cotton patch is bonded to back. Written on it in black print is "Our hearts and prayers are with you. May 1995, from Mrs. Susan West's Second Grade Class, Christ the King School, Rutland, VT."
A letter from Mrs. Susan West, dated May 30, 1995, describes how the class of 17 children decided to make these quilts. |
