Description

| This quilt is made of 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" print cotton blocks, tacked with cream-colored yarn, lined in blue cotton with blue and white floral bud print and filled with polyfoam. A heart-shaped cotton patch is bonded to the back. Written on it in black print is "Our hearts and prayers are with you. May 1995, from Mrs. Susan West's Second Grade Class, Christ the King School, Rutland, VT." Letter from Mrs. Susan West, dated May 30, 1995, describes how the class of 17 children decided to make these quilts. |
