Description
License plates like this one are often left on the Memorial Fence. They serve as reminders that people from all over the world were affected by the bombing, and that the people of Oklahoma City were not alone in the days and months after that tragedy. This plate comes from the Kansas 061st Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps out of Derby, Kansas. License plates are sometimes sent out with the Hope Trunks to give students an idea of the wide and continuing impact of violence.
