Collection Oklahoma City National Memorial - Virtual Archives
Date of photo 2005
Description This CD contains work done in 2005 by student interns from Oklahoma City University. Specifically, the CD contains the final version of an interactive presentation on stuffed bears created for the Virtual Archives by Oklahoma City University students Phillip Rosier, Brandon Stauffer and Jeffery Dalton. The exhibit is about Linda and Tom Straughn, who collected nearly 200 stuffed bears for the victims of the bombing. They worked for Holland Trucking and drove the bears to Oklahoma City. The bears were placed on the children's chairs and the fence. The bears from the fence were used part of the I am Hope program and sent to Afghanistan.
