Education

Education plays an important role the mission of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. Tools like the Hope Trunks and our First Person program take the message of the Memorial and Museum to schools and groups around the state and across the nation. This section of the archive offers viewers the opportunity to learn about these programs. We begin with examples of some of the items that go out in our Hope Trunks. Taken mainly from the Memorial Fence, these items reflect the many ways that visitors have responded to the Memorial. Also included in this exhibit are some examples of the First Person stories that have been shared and recorded at the Memorial. Lastly, this exhibit highlights some of the work done by local students to help tell the story of the Memorial to future audiences.

For more information, or to include these educational programs in your own curriculum, please visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum or contact us for more information.
