The message written on this paper reads "4-30-06, Zachary, Here are some quarter from great grandpa Hernandez. You always loved quarters [more] than dollars." A smiley face is drawn at the bottom.
The quarters and the note were removed from Zachary Chavez's chair on May 2, 2006, three days after the Sixth Annual Memorial Marathon, held in April 2006. |
