Description

| This is a collection of pieces of the Ryder truck used in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. These pieces were collected during the FBI's investigation. This is a collection of metal tubes & wire fragments from the truck. A detailed list follows.
Pieces within 238/8178 tubes & wires:
#1: Tube with bolt block in middle and tubing with holes in block facing opposite directions. Tubing bent with connectors at each end.
#2: Tubing with screw end and bolt with U neck tubing on opposite end. 29 x 1 diam. end. 12 x 2.5 x 2.75
#3: Tubing with black paint flaked and gasket circular end. Misshaped tubing. 32 x 1.5 diam. end
#4: Connector tubing with one screw end with corrosion 3 x .5 diam.
#5: Small length tubing with connector at one end and circular metal flange edging. 5 x .5 diam.
#6: Flat rusted wire tape in circular shape 2.5 diam. with 2 inch tail x .5 high
#7: Black circular flat plastic piece with hole in center. .5 x 2 diam.
#8: Copper metal pole with screw end and bolt. Opposite end tip bent at 90 degree angle. 9 x .5
#9: Gold metal pole with plastic black handle flattened. Opposite end bent at 90 degree angle. 12 x .5
#10: Wire coated with heavy black covering. One end with thin wire exposed, middle has extra rubber covering over plastic. Opposite end is flattened black plastic. 16 x 1 diam. at widest middle
#11: Silver wire exposed with black covering over. Frayed ends. 5 x .5 diam.
#12: Red wire with silver connecting end and screw 18 x .13 diam.
#13: Black coated wire with flattened silver wire. 5 x .5 diam.
#14: Same type of wire as #13 but 5 x .5 diam. |
