Sam Gonzales discusses the morning of 04/19/1995, Mayor's Prayer Breakfast, feeling the blast, calling the communications department, heading for the Murrah Building; thinking it was an accident, seeing the scene, realizing it was a deliberate act; ensuring the streets remained open; Emmetsburg emergency training program, FEMA; Incident Command System, moving the Command Post farther from the building; FBI, Bob Ricks, Mayor Norick; coordinating with other agencies; secondary device scare; role of police officers in rescue efforts; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, debriefings; conditions inside the building; evidence collection; OSBI, DEA, FBI, ATF, Oklahoma City Police Department, preparedness and the importance of communication between agencies.
